At Heroic Fitness Adventures, our mission is to initiate each client on a lifelong path of recovery-based fitness and wellbeing.
WHY
That mission applies to our team just as much as our members. From the way we coach to the programs we offer and the environment we create, everything we do is built to support people and help them progressively achieve their “Unique Aspirational Fitness Identity.”
HOW
We believe fitness should give you more than just a good workout. It should build confidence, resilience, and a sense of community as well as the knowledge, tools, systems, and written plans to empower each client to advance their fitness over the course of their entire life.

We believe in the Worth of the Individual. That all of us are made to do and to be something significant, and we will use work as one way for people to find and create that significance.
We believe in Ownership. It is the most powerful driving force in business. Everyone must own something, whether it is their task, their process, their job, their future, their result, or their company.
We believe in transformation, not education. We lead from our experience, not from our knowledge. Life and business are an ongoing process of growth and learning where we are constantly becoming better versions of ourselves.
We believe in Excellence. Excellence; not perfection is our orientation. We use our “Ideals” like a floodlight to illuminate what future goals are achievable. Then, we regularly and systematically measure our progress from our “starting points” to our “target dates”-we practice measuring GAINS; not Gaps in all we do-our mindset is we are either “Winning” or “Learning.”
We believe in Conation. Conation is the most important word we train people to use. Conation – committed movement in a purposeful direction.
We believe in Speed of Execution. Implement now and perfect as you go. Waiting around for perfection is a bad idea.
We believe in Simple Plans plus Speed. Simple Plans Carried Out with Speed Many Times Yield Good Results. It’s never how good your plan is that matters, but how committed you are to the Basic Plan you’ve got. Get moving.
We believe in the power of Connection. We believe that strong and positive relationships enhance physical health and well-being. We believe that strong relationships require the practice of Zero Negativity, Curiosity, Acceptance, and Celebration of Differences.
We believe in Guides, not instructors or gurus. Guides possess the qualities of both empathy and competence. We guide our fitness clients on individualized programs that intentionally and skillfully balance performance and relaxation, which allows them to grow stronger from the stress of exercise and life demands. We apply the same wisdom of balancing performance and relaxation to our professional work environment, projects, and tasks at work.
We believe in Harmony. We believe that harmony in the body and mind are created through the skillful balance of opposites (physically, mentally, emotionally, as well as those aspects of one’s life that offer meaning). We believe that the mental states of acceptance and curiosity (combined with skillful dialogue) are the key to transforming differences and conflicts into connection and harmony.
We believe in Investment. We believe individuals and teams rise to the level of investment (e.g. money, time, energy) of a given project, task, or venture. We seek out relationships of mutual investment that elevate all involved to a higher level of freedom in terms of time, money, relationship, purpose, and health.
